Richel Yumar-Gonzalez, a 33-year-old employee of Deluxe Mobile Pet Grooming, has been arrested and charged with animal cruelty after a viral doorbell camera video showed him kicking a small white dog in the head and neck. The incident occurred on August 12, 2024, in Hialeah, Florida, and the pet owner was unaware of the abuse until contacted by authorities following the report. The grooming company owner immediately terminated Yumar-Gonzalez and cooperated with the investigation, which led to his surrender to police on August 21. He confessed to the actions captured in the video and has since been released on bond. Fortunately, a veterinarian confirmed that the dog did not suffer any significant injuries from the incident.
