Levon Hawke Makes Directorial Debut with Picture Day
Levon Hawke, the 22-year-old son of actors Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, is set to make his directorial debut with the play 'Picture Day', which he also wrote. The production will premiere at Coffey Street Studios in Brooklyn from September 20 to October 6, 2024, and explores themes of identity and modern friendships among five roommates. Levon, a Brown University graduate, has previously acted in Zoe Kravitz's film 'Blink Twice' and is also featured in the upcoming western 'The Thicket' alongside Peter Dinklage. He is musically inclined, having written songs for his sister Maya Hawke's album. Despite his lineage, Levon has pursued a path in theater directing, showcasing his talents in various artistic fields. Both parents have supported their children's pursuits in the entertainment industry.
