IITs Form New Academic Partnerships

IIT Roorkee has collaborated with Jaro Education to launch a Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, aimed at equipping professionals with essential skills in data science and AI. The program, lasting 6-8 months, covers various modules including Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Generative AI, and requires applicants to have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. Meanwhile, IIT Madras and IIT Ropar have signed an MoU allowing IITM BS Data Science students to complete their degree credits on the IIT Ropar campus, with a pathway to MS admission without GATE scores. This partnership also offers research opportunities, internships, and direct admission to IIT Ropar's MS programs. The collaboration aims to democratize higher education and provide enhanced academic and professional opportunities for students, especially from rural areas.
