Michigan Doctor Charged in Extensive Recording Scandal

Dr. Oumair Aejaz, a 40-year-old Indian physician specializing in internal medicine, has been arrested and charged with multiple sex crimes after allegedly using hidden cameras to record thousands of nude images and videos of women and children over at least six years. The investigation began when his wife provided concerning materials to authorities, leading to the discovery of over 13,000 videos on a single hard drive and numerous other devices at his Rochester Hills home. Aejaz, who has been working in the U.S. on a visa since 2011, placed cameras in various locations including bathrooms, changing rooms, hospital rooms, and his own home. The victims include children as young as two years old and unconscious women. He is currently held on a $2 million bond, and the investigation might extend beyond Michigan to other states and potentially countries.
