Hulu Unveils First Look at A Thousand Blows

Hulu has unveiled first-look images for its upcoming series 'A Thousand Blows', set to premiere in 2025, which explores the world of illegal boxing in 1880s Victorian London. Created by Steven Knight, known for 'Peaky Blinders', the series stars Malachi Kirby as Hezekiah Moscow, who navigates the violent landscape of London's East End after arriving from Jamaica. Hezekiah encounters Mary Carr, portrayed by Erin Doherty, the leader of The Forty Elephants, an infamous all-female gang, while facing off against seasoned boxer Sugar Goodson, played by Stephen Graham. The ensemble cast includes Francis Lovehall, Jason Tobin, and several others, with the series directed by Tinge Krishnan and written by a team of new voices alongside Knight. Notably, a second season has already completed production, with further details expected later. The series will be available on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in select countries.
