Celebrity Race Across the World is returning for its second series on BBC One, featuring four pairs of contestants journeying 7,800 miles across South America, starting in Belém, Brazil, and ending in Frutillar, Chile. Actor Kola Bokinni, known for his role in Ted Lasso, joins the race with his cousin Mary Ellen, alongside other celebrity pairs including Jeff Brazier and his son Freddy, Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy, and Scott Mills with his husband Sam. The six-episode series will see contestants navigate through five checkpoints with a limited budget and only maps for guidance. The first season aired in September 2023, with Alex Beresford and his father Noel winning the race after overcoming early setbacks. Fans eagerly anticipate the new season, which begins airing on August 14, 2024, at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
