Stinker Stores Owner Charley Jones Dies

Charley Jones, the majority owner and former CEO of Stinker Stores, passed away from cancer on Wednesday. He acquired the convenience store chain in 2002 and became its sole owner in 2012 after buying out his partner. Under his leadership, Stinker expanded from 65 to over 100 locations across Idaho, Colorado, and Wyoming, and became known for its community involvement. Jones was celebrated for his business acumen and generosity, earning accolades such as Idaho Business Leader of the Year. Nate Brazier, the current CEO, described Jones as a visionary and the 'greatest Stinker of all,' emphasizing his lasting impact on the company. Memorial service details have not yet been disclosed.
