Prashant Kishor Challenges Tejashwi Yadav on Bihar Development

Prashant Kishor, head of the new Jan Suraaj party, has criticized RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav's claims about Bihar's development, calling it 'laughable' given Yadav's 15 years in power. Yadav had previously accused the BJP of prioritizing power over public welfare, citing alarming statistics on unemployment, poverty, and crime in the state. Kishor countered that Yadav is uninformed about key economic concepts, such as GDP, and mocked his past positive views on Bihar's situation when he was Deputy Chief Minister. Yadav labeled the current governance as a 'demon's rule' under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, asserting that public safety has deteriorated. Kishor announced intentions for Jan Suraaj to contest the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, aiming to empower women in politics. He remarked that if Kumar re-aligns with the Mahagathbandhan, Yadav would likely change his perspective on Bihar's conditions again.
