Three people were killed early Sunday morning in a solo-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate Highway 880 at the Warren Avenue overcrossing in Fremont, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The crash was reported at 5:53 a.m., and emergency crews found that the vehicle had collided with a concrete barrier. All three occupants of the vehicle succumbed to their injuries at the scene, although it is unclear if they died immediately upon impact. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the CHP. Officials have not yet identified the victims.
