Charley Hull Calls for Turnberry's Return

British golfer Charley Hull is advocating for the Women's Open Championship to return to Trump Turnberry, a course currently banned from the rotation due to its association with former President Donald Trump and the January 6 Capitol riots. Hull described the course as one of the best in the world and expressed disappointment over its exclusion, citing its excellent views and playing conditions. Despite her appeal, the R&A, which organizes the Women's Open, remains firm on its stance to keep the tournament away from Trump-owned properties until the focus can solely be on golf. Hull, who has two LPGA wins and is ranked 11th in the world, is preparing for upcoming tournaments, including the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open and the AIG Women's Open at St. Andrews.
