China had a stellar performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics, winning multiple gold medals across various events. Liu Huanhua claimed the 102 kg weightlifting title with a total of 406 kg, narrowly beating Uzbekistan's Akbar Djuraev and Belarusian Yauheni Tsikhantsou. The country also swept all eight diving gold medals, with Cao Yuan defending his title in the men's 10-meter platform, making him the first male diver since 1988 to win consecutive golds in this event. Additionally, China secured its first-ever rhythmic gymnastics group all-around gold with a score of 69.800, and Chang Yuan won the women's 54kg boxing gold. Luo Shifang also set Olympic records in the 59kg weightlifting category, lifting a total of 241 kg.
