He emphasized that he will address the charges legally, with his legal team handling the proceedings until his return from the United States. The allegations emerged amid a wave of similar accusations within the Malayalam film industry following the Hema Committee's report on widespread sexual abuse. Jayasurya expressed his distress over the false claims and reiterated his belief in the judicial system to clear his name. The police have registered cases based on two separate complaints under sections 354 and 354C of the IPC. Jayasurya thanked his supporters for standing by him and expressed confidence that the truth will prevail.
