CAS Delays Phogat's Olympic Appeal Decision Again

Phogat was disqualified for being 100 grams overweight just before her final match, despite efforts to meet the weight requirement. The delay was attributed to 'exceptional circumstances,' and the case has seen multiple deferrals. Phogat’s legal team clarified that she was within the weight limit during earlier rounds and remains hopeful for a positive outcome. The Indian Olympic Association also supports her appeal. Following her disqualification, Phogat announced her retirement from the sport.
