RFK Jr. Considers Trump Endorsement After Assassination Attempt

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently held talks with former President Donald Trump about endorsing Trump’s 2024 campaign in exchange for a potential role in a second Trump administration overseeing health and medical issues. These discussions began shortly after an assassination attempt on Trump on July 13 and included phone calls and meetings in Milwaukee. Despite both men expressing interest, no agreement was reached due to concerns within Trump's team about the optics and legal complications of such an arrangement. Kennedy, a known vaccine skeptic, praised Trump for his openness and criticized the Democratic National Committee for not engaging with him. Kennedy confirmed he plans to continue his campaign and has not endorsed Trump.
