Afghanistan's judoka, Mohammad Samim Faizad, has tested positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol at the Paris Olympics, marking the third doping case at the event. The sample was taken during his opening bout, where he lost to Austria's Wachid Borchashvili in the men’s 81-kilogram class. Faizad, who turns 22 during the Olympics, has been removed from the competition and was the only athlete from Afghanistan participating in this category.
