Hamas delegation to Cairo

A Hamas delegation, led by Khalil al-Hayya, is set to meet with Egyptian intelligence officials in Cairo to receive updates on the ongoing Gaza ceasefire talks; however, Hamas has reiterated that it will not participate in the negotiations. Key issues include Israel's demand to maintain a military presence in the Philadelphi Corridor, a buffer zone along the Gaza-Egypt border, which Hamas opposes.
