Multiple individuals have been sentenced to prison for their participation in violent riots across various UK cities following the killing of three young girls in Southport. William Nelson Morgan, 69, and John O'Malley, 43, were jailed for two years and eight months for their roles in riots in Merseyside. Derek Drummond, 58, received a three-year sentence for violent disorder and assaulting a police officer in Southport. Additionally, Daniel McGuire, Lucas Ormond Skeaping, and Michael Williams received sentences ranging from one year and six months to two years and eight months for violent disorder in Plymouth. The riots have led to over 140 people being charged with public order offences, and the Crown Prosecution Service is investigating potential counter-terrorism charges related to online incitement.
