Pavel Datsyuk, a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Detroit Red Wings, and Shea Weber, a renowned defenseman, were elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2024 in their first year of eligibility. Joining them are Jeremy Roenick, who had been eligible since 2012, and U.S. women's hockey legends Natalie Darwitz and Krissy Wendell-Pohl, marking the first class to include two U.S. women's players. Datsyuk is celebrated for his exceptional two-way play, winning multiple Selke and Lady Byng Trophies, while Weber is recognized for his powerful slap shot and leadership. The Builder Category inductees include former general manager David Poile and NHL executive Colin Campbell. The induction ceremony will take place on November 11 in Toronto.
