Mnangagwa Attends Kagame's Inauguration in Rwanda

President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, to attend the inauguration of President Paul Kagame, who recently won elections with an overwhelming 99.18% of the vote. Kagame's two opponents secured only 0.5% and 0.32% respectively, with a reported voter turnout of 98%. The inauguration ceremony, scheduled for Sunday at Amahoro National Stadium, is expected to draw over 40,000 attendees, including more than 23 African heads of state. During a recent Politburo meeting, Mnangagwa congratulated Kagame on his electoral victory, emphasizing the importance of African nations' autonomy in shaping their destinies. South Sudan's President Salva Kiir is also attending the ceremony, underscoring regional collaboration on peace and stability. The event promises cultural displays alongside the formal proceedings, celebrating Kagame's leadership since 2000.
