National Night Out on August 6, 2024

National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign aimed at promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, will take place on August 6, 2024, across various U.S. communities. Events will feature diverse activities such as food, music, games, and demonstrations by law enforcement and emergency services, aiming to foster positive interactions and enhance public safety awareness. In Hoboken, the event will include a 'jaws of life' demonstration and a New Jersey Devils mobile hockey station. Bolingbrook will host a Concert on the Hill alongside the event, while Chippewa Falls will offer a dunk tank and a scavenger hunt. High Point will see nearly two dozen local organizations participating, and Yakima Valley's events will span two days. Lafayette's event will be held at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center, and Belleville will feature a kickball game and 'dunk-a-cop' activity. Lancaster County will host multiple events, including K-9 demonstrations and a ballgame honoring first responders.
