Manchester City Signs Aoba Fujino

Manchester City has officially signed 20-year-old Japanese international forward Aoba Fujino on a three-year deal from Tokyo Verdy Beleza, where she had an impressive record of 24 goals and 17 assists in 51 appearances. Fujino, who became Japan's youngest goalscorer in a World Cup during the 2023 tournament, is currently representing her country at the Paris Olympics and will join her new teammates for the Perth International Football Cup later this month. She expressed excitement about joining City, highlighting its top-level physical and technical environment, and the club's significant history. Fujino is the third summer signing for Manchester City, following the arrivals of Vivianne Miedema and Risa Shimizu.
