Jordan Peele to reboot Scare Tactics

Jordan Peele's production company, Monkeypaw Productions, is reviving the hidden camera horror-comedy show 'Scare Tactics,' which originally aired on Syfy from 2003 to 2013. The reboot will premiere on the USA Network in Fall 2024 and promises to immerse unsuspecting participants in twisted scenarios crafted by their friends and family, blending horror and comedy. Elan Gale, known for his work on 'Midnight Mass,' serves as the showrunner. The original series had notable hosts, including Shannen Doherty, Stephen Baldwin, and Tracy Morgan, but a new host has yet to be announced. Peele's team aims to deliver a fresh take on the classic format, integrating innovative storytelling and production techniques. Universal Television Alternative Studios is collaborating with Monkeypaw to bring this reimagined series to life.
