Hyundai Confirms N Vision 74 EV Production

Hyundai has confirmed plans to produce the N Vision 74, a high-performance electric vehicle initially introduced as a concept two years ago. The announcement, made during the company's 2024 CEO Investor Day, is part of Hyundai's strategy to launch 21 new EV models by 2030. The N Vision 74, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and inspired by the 1974 Pony Coupe, features a unique design reminiscent of the DeLorean. Although the initial concept included both an electric powertrain and a hydrogen fuel cell, it remains unclear if the production model will retain the hydrogen component. Reports suggest the vehicle may be produced in limited numbers, potentially as few as 100 units, with a price exceeding $300,000. This move positions the N Vision 74 as Hyundai's halo vehicle, showcasing the brand's commitment to high-end and innovative EVs.
