IDF Intensifies Strikes on Hezbollah Targets

Israeli forces have intensified strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, bombing weapons storage facilities in the Bekaa Valley and killing key commanders such as Hussein Ali Hussein Suleiman and Hussein Ibrahim. These actions come amidst a 10-month-long conflict involving Hezbollah and parallel tensions with Hamas in Gaza, raising fears of a broader Middle East war. Hezbollah retaliated by launching dozens of rockets and drones at Israeli military sites, causing casualties including the death of Israeli soldier Mahmood Amaria. Israel's recent operations also include the significant assassination of Fuad Shukr, a high-ranking Hezbollah commander, revealing vulnerabilities in Hezbollah's internal security. Over 600 people, including more than 400 Hezbollah fighters, have died since the hostilities began last October.
