IDF soldier killed

Sgt. Omer Ginzburg, a 19-year-old member of the Paratroopers Brigade, was killed in a sniper attack in Khan Yunis, bringing the Israeli military's death toll to 330 since the start of ground operations in Gaza on October 27. The total number of Israeli soldiers killed since the conflict began on October 7 has reached 690, with over 4,300 wounded. The Israeli military confirmed the death of another soldier, 20-year-old Sgt. Ido Eli Zrihen from the Givati Brigade, raising the total to 579 fatalities since the outbreak of hostilities. Palestinian resistance groups claim the actual number of Israeli military casualties is much higher, alleging that Israel conceals the true figures amidst growing discontent among the Israeli public over the prolonged conflict and failure to secure the release of captives. Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes have reportedly killed 38 terrorists in a recent precision operation on a Hamas command center embedded within a mosque.
