Recent police operations across India have led to significant drug seizures and arrests related to Ganja (Cannabis). In Bhopal, two drug peddlers were arrested with 8.2 kg of Ganja, valued at approximately Rs 1.60 lakh, following a tip-off about their activities near a vegetable market. Meanwhile, Swaraj Dweep Police seized 66 grams of Ganja from a bartender at a local hotel during a raid, and Kadamtala Police arrested a suspect with 91 grams in his car. Additionally, large-scale seizures were reported in Alluri Sitharama Raju and East Godavari districts, totaling over 1,500 kg of Ganja and multiple arrests, highlighting an ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking. Law enforcement agencies are encouraging public cooperation in combatting drug-related offenses, offering confidentiality and rewards for information. These operations reflect a concerted effort to tackle the growing issue of illegal drug trade in the region.
