Diksha Dagar Injured in Car Accident

Indian golfer Diksha Dagar was involved in a car accident in Paris on the night of July 30-31, along with her family, while returning from a function at India House. Diksha escaped unhurt and will compete in the women's golf event at the Paris Olympics starting August 7. However, her mother sustained a suspected spinal injury and is hospitalized for treatment. The Indian Golf Union has confirmed that they are in touch with the family and are providing support. Despite the incident, Diksha is continuing her preparations and remains focused on her Olympic performance.
