Three Dead in Mumbai Motorcycle Crash

In a tragic accident in Mumbai's Aarey Colony, three men—Radheyshyam Davande, 34, Vivek Rajbhar, 24, and Ritesh Salve, 27—were killed when their motorcycle crashed into an electric pole around midnight on August 30. The police reported that the trio was likely riding under the influence of alcohol, though confirmation will come after post-mortem results. Davande, who was riding the motorcycle, was a recently married father of two, and all three were laborers at the underground metro site. They were traveling from Powai to Marol for dinner when the incident occurred, and it is suspected that speed and triple-seat riding contributed to the crash. Two of the men were pronounced dead at the hospital, while Salve succumbed to his injuries shortly after. An Accidental Death Report has been filed, and investigations are ongoing, including analysis of CCTV footage and blood samples.
