Casbah Coffee Club Opens as Airbnb in Liverpool

The Casbah Coffee Club, a significant venue in The Beatles' early career, has been transformed into an Airbnb, allowing fans to experience where the band performed. Opened in 1959 by Mona Best, mother of original drummer Pete Best, the club hosted 13 gigs by The Quarrymen and over 40 by The Beatles before closing in 1962. The property features five themed suites named after band members, excluding Ringo Starr, who never played there. Pete Best and his brother Roag have worked on the conversion since 2020, highlighting it as a tribute to their mother's dream and the band's legacy. Guests can enjoy a nostalgic environment adorned with Beatles memorabilia and the original performance space. This initiative aims to provide fans a unique opportunity to connect with the band's history.
