Long Beach Police Seek Hit-and-Run Driver
Police in Long Beach are seeking assistance from the public to identify a hit-and-run driver who injured two pedestrians on July 17 while they were crossing at a marked crosswalk. The vehicle involved is described as a white, newer model Kia with a license plate ending in 243. The victims sustained moderate, non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a hospital after receiving initial medical aid. In a separate incident, the Los Angeles Police Department is looking for a driver who struck a pedestrian in May, leaving him severely injured without stopping, and is offering a reward for information. Additionally, Roanoke Police are investigating a similar hit-and-run case involving three pedestrians injured on August 27, with charges pending against the driver. All involved police departments are urging anyone with information to come forward to aid in these investigations.
