Seattle Kraken Extend Winning Streak in Overtime Victory
The Seattle Kraken clinched a 2-1 overtime victory against the Philadelphia Flyers, marking their fourth successive win. Justin Schultz scored the game-winning goal 2:35 into overtime, after redirecting a pass from Oliver Bjorkstrand past the Flyers' goalie Carter Hart. Vince Dunn scored a powerplay goal early in the third period for the Kraken, while Travis Konecny netted the Flyers' only goal. Goalies Joey Daccord and Carter Hart made 27 and 29 saves respectively for the Kraken and Flyers. The Kraken will next face the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL's Winter Classic on Monday, January 1 at T-Mobile Park.
