A small-engine Beechcraft 35 Bonanza made a forced landing on Interstate 840 in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Wednesday evening due to reported engine failure. The plane, which took off from Georgia, landed around 8 p.m. and was subsequently struck by a passing vehicle, injuring one passenger on board. Emergency services responded, and the injured individual was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, while the vehicle's occupant was unharmed. Investigations into the incident are being conducted by the Greensboro Police Department and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). All westbound lanes of the interstate were closed for several hours following the incident.
