The Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) in Belagavi is set to hold its annual camp on August 15, aiming to surpass last year's record of 936 units collected, with participating blood banks offering insurance to donors. In Hyderabad, a camp aimed at supporting Thalassemia patients was held, emphasizing adherence to health standards for donor safety. Indian Bank celebrated its foundation day with a blood donation camp in Chandigarh, while a camp in Port Blair managed to collect 43 units of blood under the auspices of the local AIDS Control Society. Most recently, Mithapur Hospital and GG Medical Hospital in Bengaluru successfully gathered 625 units, highlighting community involvement in supporting local healthcare needs. Each initiative underscores the collective effort of organizations and volunteers to ensure a steady blood supply for those in need.
