MTV has announced a star-studded lineup of performers, including Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Camila Cabello, GloRilla, and Rauw Alejandro, with more to be revealed. The awards will also honor the 23rd anniversary of 9/11 by supporting nonprofit organizations like 9/11 Day and Tuesday’s Children. Taylor Swift leads the nominations with ten, followed by Post Malone with nine, and several artists, including Ariana Grande and Eminem, each with six nods. Fan voting for specific categories is currently open until August 30. This year’s ceremony marks the 40th anniversary of the VMAs, celebrating music video artistry in New York State.
