Missing Assamese Girl Found; Search for Mamta Kafle

A 13-year-old Assamese girl, Tasmeet Begum, who went missing from her home in Kazhakootam, Thiruvananthapuram, was found safe on a train in Visakhapatnam. The girl had left home after a dispute and was located with the help of the Malayalee Association and local police. Her parents expressed relief upon her safe return. In a separate case, police are intensifying their search efforts for Mamta Kafle, a missing woman from Manassas Park, with her husband named as a person of interest and currently not cooperating with the investigation. Authorities have executed over 10 search warrants and conducted hundreds of interviews, with significant police presence at the Kafle home. Investigations into both cases are ongoing with community and police efforts continuing to play a crucial role.
