Dylan Vente Joins PEC Zwolle on Loan

Hibernian striker Dylan Vente has moved to Dutch side PEC Zwolle on a season-long loan after struggling to make an impact at Easter Road. The 25-year-old, signed for £700,000 from Roda JC, scored only 11 goals in 43 appearances for Hibs, despite a promising start that included a hat-trick in the Premier Sports Cup. Hibs head coach David Gray expressed his appreciation for Vente's professionalism and desire to improve, stating that the loan offers him a chance to play regularly and regain his form. Sporting director Malky Mackay noted significant interest in Vente over the summer and believes the move to the Eredivisie will allow him to showcase his talent. PEC Zwolle, having retained their Eredivisie status last season, provides a suitable environment for Vente to revitalize his career. Hibs are now considering additional attacking signings to replace him before the transfer window closes.
