Father Charged After Deadly SUV Crash in Maryland

A tragic incident unfolded when 36-year-old Dana Plummer allegedly abducted his three children following a domestic-related stabbing in Virginia Beach. On August 14, two female victims were found with multiple stab wounds, prompting an Amber Alert for the children, aged 7, 5, and 16 months. The police attempted to apprehend Plummer on Interstate 95, but he fled, resulting in a crash in Maryland that overturned his vehicle. Sadly, the 16-month-old girl, Za’riyah Plummer, succumbed to her injuries after being airlifted to a hospital, while her two siblings were injured but survived. Plummer is hospitalized and faces multiple charges in Virginia, with further charges pending in Maryland. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking event.
