24 Students Hospitalized After Lab Incident in Bapatla

On August 24, 2024, 24 students from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bapatla fell ill after exposure to toxic fumes released during a science lab experiment. The incident occurred when students mixed household items, leading to the generation of poisonous gases, causing them to flee the lab in panic. Prompt medical assistance was provided, with most students discharged from Bapatla Government Hospital, except for one who is under observation.
