Anthony Jalo Charged with Murder in New Bedford

Anthony Jalo, a 21-year-old from New Bedford, has been arrested and charged with the murder of 44-year-old Aaron Britto. The incident occurred on August 4 at approximately 1:37 a.m. on Earle Street, where residents reported hearing gunshots. Britto was found with multiple injuries between Morna Lounge and Grill and Harmony House, a residential addiction treatment center. He was transported to Saint Luke's Hospital but later pronounced dead. Jalo is set to be arraigned in New Bedford District Court. The Bristol County District Attorney's Office confirmed the arrest and charges.
