French Swimmer Injures Shoulder Celebrating Paris Olympics Qualification

However, his exuberant celebration led to a dislocated shoulder, resulting in him being photographed on the podium with his arm in a sling and later taken to the hospital for checks. Despite the injury, Fente-Damers remains hopeful to compete in the upcoming Games, including the men's 4x100m relay team. His teammate Maxime Grousset, who won the race, expressed optimism about Fente-Damers' recovery, highlighting his fearless nature as a strength. The swimming events at the Paris Olympics are set to begin on July 27.
