Pope Francis has begun a 12-day tour of the Asia-Pacific, starting with a visit to Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim-majority country. The tour aims to promote interfaith harmony, with key events including a joint declaration with the grand imam at Jakarta's Istiqlal Mosque and a Mass for 80,000 worshippers. Despite concerns over his health, the 87-year-old pontiff appeared in good spirits upon arrival, greeted by traditional ceremonies and a special stamp collection commemorating his visit. Indonesian President Joko Widodo welcomed the Pope, emphasizing their shared commitment to peace and brotherhood. The tour will also take Pope Francis to Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and Singapore.
