Dinesh Karthik Names All-Time India XI
On India's Independence Day, former wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik revealed his all-time Indian playing XI, featuring some of the greatest cricketers across formats. Opening the batting are Virender Sehwag and Rohit Sharma, known for their explosive styles, followed by the legendary trio of Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virat Kohli in the middle order. Karthik included all-rounders Yuvraj Singh and Ravindra Jadeja, along with a bowling attack led by Jasprit Bumrah and Zaheer Khan, with spinners Anil Kumble and Ravichandran Ashwin rounding out the squad. Notably, MS Dhoni was omitted from the team, despite his significant contributions to Indian cricket. Karthik expressed difficulty in selecting the final team due to the abundance of talent in Indian cricket history. Harbhajan Singh was named as the 12th man, acknowledging his impact on the game.
