Paul McCartney Surprises Fans at Hamptons Show
Paul McCartney made a surprise appearance at the Stephen Talkhouse in the Hamptons on August 20, joining producer Andrew Watt and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith for an intimate performance. The 82-year-old Beatles legend performed 'I Saw Her Standing There' and Neil Young's 'Rockin' in the Free World,' delighting the crowd at the small venue. This collaboration follows McCartney's recent work with Watt on the Rolling Stones' album 'Hackney Diamonds,' where he contributed to the track 'Bite My Head Off.' The ensemble included former SNL bandleader G.E. Smith and featured Watt's girlfriend Charlotte Lawrence, who joined McCartney for part of the performance. McCartney is set to resume his touring schedule in South America starting October 1 and will continue into December across Europe and the UK. Details of his upcoming album project with Watt remain under wraps.
