Indian Government Announces Major Cabinet Reshuffle
The interim government of Bangladesh has appointed new secretaries in various ministries, including Nasimul Gani as the secretary for the President's Office (Public Division). Other appointments include Dr Momen in the public security division of the Home Affairs Ministry and Dr Abdur Rashid as secretary of the education ministry. In India, a substantial bureaucratic reshuffle has taken place, appointing new secretaries for defence, health, and expenditure, including Manoj Govil as the new expenditure secretary. Additionally, Nagaraju Maddirala has been appointed as secretary of the Department of Financial Services, replacing Vivek Joshi, who has been reassigned. This reshuffle is part of the Modi government's first major bureaucratic change in its third term, aiming to fill long-standing vacancies in key positions.
