Bihar Police constable
The UP Police Constable Exam 2024 has been rescheduled to August 23-31 due to a question paper leak, with over 60,000 positions to be filled. In Bihar, seven individuals were arrested for malpractices during the police constable recruitment exam, which commenced on August 7 and will continue until August 28, aiming to fill 21,391 vacancies. Four of those arrested were candidates caught at examination centers, while additional cases were registered against eight others for fraudulent practices. The Bihar police also detained three individuals in Sheikhpura district, recovering mobile phones and ATM cards from them. Approximately 17.87 lakh candidates are expected to participate in the Bihar exam, with a reported 65% attendance on the second day. Both states are emphasizing the integrity of their recruitment processes amidst rising incidents of examination malpractices.
