Ryu expressed her nerves during the playoff but credited her caddie for encouraging her to trust herself. Ko, who was seeking her first win since May 2023, missed an eight-foot birdie putt on the final hole of regulation that would have clinched her victory. China's Ruixin Liu finished third with an impressive eight-under 64, just one stroke behind the leaders.
