Teen Killers of Brianna Ghey Sent to Same Secure Unit

Eddie Ratcliffe and Scarlett Jenkinson, both convicted of murdering Brianna Ghey, were placed in Barton Moss young offenders institution following their arrest. It was revealed that Ratcliffe was placed in the same secure unit as one of the killers behind James Bulger’s murder. Jenkinson was transferred to Birchwood Community High School in Warrington, Cheshire, after drugging a younger student with a cannabis-infused sweet and later poisoned and killed Brianna. Both schools were unaware of Jenkinson's prior offense, and both schools are cooperating with a local child safeguarding practice review following Brianna's death.
