Citadel Skyscraper Planned for Miami Waterfront

Miami is set to transform its skyline with the construction of the 54-story Citadel skyscraper, designed by Foster + Partners, which will become the new headquarters for the world's largest hedge fund, Citadel, relocating from Chicago. Standing at approximately 1,032 feet, the tower will feature 34 floors of office space and 212 luxury hotel rooms, alongside retail areas, and is part of a broader development initiative by Gattuso Development Partners. The design emphasizes environmental sustainability with a louvered shading system and a tapered form that enhances structural efficiency. This project is anticipated to break ground in 2025 and will be the second tallest building in Miami, following the Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Residences.
