Nebraska Upsets No. 6 Wisconsin in Overtime

Nebraska came from behind to beat Wisconsin 80-72 in overtime on Thursday night, extending the Cornhuskers' winning streak to three games. Nebraska erased an 18-point deficit in the second half to force overtime and took the lead for good 36 seconds into the extra period on a Rienk Mast hook shot. CJ Wilcher came off the bench to score 16 of his 22 points in the second half for Nebraska, while Mast finished with 20 points and eight rebounds. The win was Nebraska's second against a top-10 opponent this season, having beaten then-No. 1 Purdue 88-72 on Jan. 9. Wisconsin fell to 16-5 overall and 9-2 in the Big Ten, suffering their first conference loss since December 2021.
