Randy Gradishar Enters Hall of Fame
Randy Gradishar, a former Denver Broncos linebacker, has been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, making him the 10th Buckeye football player and 11th Ohio State student-athlete to receive this honor. Gradishar, who was a key player in Denver's 'Orange Crush' defense of the 1970s, joins the Hall 41 years after his final NFL game. Gradishar was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and won the AP Defensive Player of the Year in 1978. He expressed gratitude to his teammates, coaches, and fans, dedicating his induction to his faith. His induction also marks the first recognition of the 'Orange Crush' defense in the Hall of Fame, a unit that was pivotal during its era but had been previously overlooked. The induction ceremony took place as part of the Class of 2024, which included several other notable players.
